I thought the same thing but you have to cut and solder/crimp wires. I tapped the "reverse car" into the power wire that powers my reverse lights and the red wire I THINK just needs to go to an acc. in the car. Anything with constant power. Thats like a rem. wire for it

so the red wire with the wire around it can all just go to the power? or something that the remote goes too? is that all it needs to power it?

As for that wire... I cant remember and I dont wanna tear my truck apart to find it.. Just start hooking things up and you should be able to trouble shoot. It took me about 30 mins to install mine

Same.... well my dad was software/electronics engineer.

When I was a kid instead of the normal toys I wanted his oscilloscope and function generator. Making funny shaped waves on the display kept me entertained for hours.

My sister built a play house from a cardboard boxes. I want and put 12volt lights and light switches in it one day

I think I was like 4 when I found out what happens when you touch both prongsof an AC outlet.... after that i was restriced to 12 volt batteries lol.

Then when i got older i did those radioshack project kits..... those things still around btw?

im sending it back. i don't want to go wire shopping on the wire with the blug in and the voltage leak. i just think if they can not make something that without screwing up the wiring it makes me wonder if the cam or monitor is good quality.
it sounds like urs is awsome but ill see if i can find something that is a different brand
