i need a new battery the one i have now is on its last leg struggles 2 start til u give it gas then it starts its an ac delco battery with 770 cranking amps im wondering if i should up the amps now that im running 2 12" subs there ifnifinty references nothin amazing but yeah wondering what i should do

we got the car in 02 n havent changed the batter since so im sure its the problem hasnt had a tune up since we got it either so im sure it needs one of them 2

If the motor turns over without hesitation then it's not your battery. But if you are going to replace it, might as well do a drycell battery. Plus they have a longer life cycle.
