There's two and four channel amps, but not subs.

like he said but by 1 channel 2 and 4 thats how many subs/speakers it is made to wire up to. you can always wire in a series to add more but thats a good basic answer for you. if an amp does 2000 rms and is 2 channel it will put out 1000 each channel, 4 channel 500 each chanel so on and so on
