whats the best box for a 15 L7?
Im lookin to really hit the lows like esp in White Girl and Put On
in order to fit in my trunk, box cant be any larger than 36x12x18
but if its a really good box i suppose i could put it in my back seat.............................................................. |

given those dimensions you don't have enough room to properly run that sub ported.
3.459^3ft before displacement of the port and driver.. and L7s generally need a larger box |

i dont know why everyone bashes L7s like they are the worst subs - ive had 3 different 15s and never had a problem with 1 of them
they are not SQ subs so do not expect unreal sound quality - they are made to get loud and they do that
kicker recommends like 5 or 6 cubes for the L7 15 IIRC |

chris, from the specs you don't have enough space for a nice ported box. not only does that L7 need to be ported, it needs to have a good size port area. you just won't get that. you can try a sealed box and see if you like it. i have heard 2 sealed L7 15s and they sounded really good. just make a large sealed box. at least 3.5 cuft. |

4.5 cubes might be fine if you did external port, and sub inverted, and had a lil extra power |
