my buddy got a celica, and 2 12"re sx's. iam biuldin a box for him, the box is gonna be pretty much the size of his trunk area, which is 14X24X36. whats the best option here 1.subs facin up with port firing into the rear(only thing is there only gonna be about 3-5 inches of room from the box to the back) 2. same as above just turned around and the port firing into the car. 3. subs firing into the back with port facing up 4. something else? |

Umm someone on here had a similar body style car with 2 L7's they put both the ports and subs facing up and kind of angled at the rear glass. I think that might be your best bet. |

thanks guys, iam not sure iam going to do that or not, iam kinda lazy and dont wanna do angels, what if i did subs up port up without the angle, still better option then anything else? my only worry here is that the port or the subs will be to close to the glass(but the box is only 14 high). do u get more spl if the port is faced into a vehicle? cause i kinda wanna build subs up and port into the back, cause it looks nice and it easiest to biuld for me, then it can be put in either way. with port firing into the back or front. |

I would assume port to the hatch would be louder. Just an assumption though |

I am gunna stick with saying you should angle both to the glass. Put in a little extra work and it will be that much better. Hopefully D-money will see this or you can PM him, he knows whats up. |
