Sorry about posting on the wrong section.
I know this amp is solid my question is its rated at 3000@ 1ohm. What kind of power would i see at .5? Would it be safe to run it as a daily?

Don't quote me on this but I assume you will get roughly ~4000rms @ .5 ohm as long as you have a proper charging system.
I do this to figure it out fast
.5ohm= 4000ish
1ohm= 3000
2ohm= 1500
4ohm= 725 |

it all depends on ur voltage really.
i'd imagine u'll pull probably in a range of 400amps @ .5ohms or possibly more. given u can keep voltage @ 12.8 or higher, 3700wrms would be my guess.
I'd look at the sundown 3k's test results to give u a "general" idea. |

i run my AT7000.1 @ 0.5ohm and its beast. Just gotta have good charging.
I run a HO alt and 5 kinetiks.
Also the 3000.1 is pretty efficient, but the 5000 is more. Then the 7000 is the most eff. |
