BLK, you are a giant piece of sh1t. There are lines where you don't cross and you have crossed them multiple times on here. The picture above is not only stupid, but it is very disrespectful to the country and to everyone who lost someone on that day. If you had any common sense, you would understand how awful it is to post that picture. You do nothing positive on this forum. I have not seen one post from you that is helpful in any way, shape, or form. You are a piece of sh1t troll on here that tries to piss people off and let me tell you, congratulations, you accomplished that when you posted that picture. I know people who lost someone that day and I'm sure other people on here know people who were lost on that day. So when you show that picture, it is just an utter slap in the face to everyone. I can't believe someone would have the audacity to post that picture and think it was funny. Please do us a favor and go to CA.com or somewhere else. |

I agree with Yanks completely. The first time you posted that pic it was just wrong and you were called on it. But to do it again??? Im still relatively new to this forum and don’t really know anyone on here very well but I can say that Yanks seems like a stand up guy and I have never seen him say anything negative to anyone. For him to say that about you says a lot about your character (or lack thereof). Seriously dude grow up. And please never post that picture again. |

Looks like a TC hybrid? If it is a 4" coil I would say it could possibly be the 4hp and TC basket? Isn't AA still in Crystal Lake IL ? Might have to check them out but I don't dig the foam surround I really prefer the Butyl rubber. Polo.. |

its not a hybrid there polo fish. fi and crossfire share ownership of the rights to that basket. so they are making moofas with them. its also a quad spider setup and not the shi.tty tc sounds dual spider crap. imo still a very ugly motor, oh i think cost will be around 700^^^ very pricey |

Who you calling fish hunterfag? There was a question mark after my sentence. The dual spider wasn't designed for spl, quads usually are. TC wasn't designed for SPL period, BTW $700 isn't very pricey. Soooo the basket and motor was originally used by TC ? I would think they hold ownership because they aquired the rights from TC? < Again a question hunterwabbit... Polo. |

It's basically a double stacked new style BTL motor, Steve Meade posted some new info on it. Fi bought rights to the 6-spoke basket at auction from what I understand. Sort of a Beefier BTL motor with TC-style basket. Quote from SM, quoting Scott: "In regards to the new SMD Series sub for AA there are a couple of changes being made for production. The main two are the suspension integration and the magnets. While the OD will be the same size, they are actually 6mm taller per magnet (gaining almost 1/2" more height for the pair). Also, the magnet boot has been tooled for this double stack vs the current shorter stack. The design itself is a natural progression of what we have learned with the BTL and Mayhems. While it does not vastly improve on overall excursion, we have seen that to be far less a concern than increased thermal ability and mechanical power handling. Overall just a tougher package." |

and i never said tc was built for spl, but if you want to get technical they actually did have 18in 5200 spl top there waterpolo. but either way you cut it, spl, sql,sq tc spiders were shi.tty. and if you have a sub that takes over 3k of power more then 2 soft spiders is a must. your last question is a tad confusing....tc and crossfire bought the rights to that basket. just the basket not the motor. fi developed the motor. oh and 700 for a woofer is pricey. |

Once again Hunter you have nooo idea what you are talking about. I purchased one of the very first 5200s, powder coated motor plates and all this was the convention show sub where they had limited power. The sub was put together with soft spiders and a shorter top plate to maximize BL with only a 1000 watts or so for demo purposes only. Well the guy who sold it to me failed to tell me the reason why a limited amount of power could only be used. I took a new DD Z1a modded it for 16V and bumped the sub in a 5cf box with 96 in of port so ya the spiders went and only because the tinsels ate through them first. The second 5200 was 5X stiffer so I knew right away what it was and I e-mailed another pwerson about it and we figure it all out. BTW Snow get off the burning because your melting your cheese head lOl. Polo.. |

Soooo the basket and motor was originally used by TC ? I would think they hold ownership because they aquired the rights from TC? < Again a question hunterwabbit... Polo. lets play, shall we? #1. tc no longer owns the rights to that basket. fi/crossfire do. (only the 15 and the 18. tc still owns the 10's and 12's) #2. That motor has NOTHIGN to do with the 4hp. different gap, differing amount and different size slugs (4hp- 3 10.25x.75" slugs, smd 2 11.25x(xx") slugs. the smd has no pole vent, while the 4hp has a large pole vent. different top plate, and VASTLY different bottom plates.) i would strongly caution any of you on making assumptions about these drivers, based off some crappy pictures. |

I never said that TC did I sais it looks like TC's basket. I was right it was the basket TC used all other sentences were followed by question marks but some fail to see the difference.I also don't care for people who make crappy comments on a sub that they haven't ever owned. Hey BTW visitor, what did my old top ever become?(< another qustion mark) You got the one I ripped apart lOl. Polo. |
