I have searched the forum, and didn't really find anything, so could someone help me to understand aero ports? How do you tune your box using them? Do they have any advantages over a slot port? Are there any aero port box calculators? |

it is actually very simple. figure your round port calculations for the aero you are using but with one diff. the aero is 5" then add the tube length to it. example i need a 4" aero at 12" so i need to cut the aero tube to 7" bute with the total flare it will be 13". one inch of mount and taper of the flare. the aero will flow air better in the correct application. |

Volume of Box in Cubic Feet: 2.66 Tuning frequency: 33 Port diameter: 4 Number of Ports: 2 Straight Length Port required 20.46 Flare Length Port required 21.46 Does this mean I need two 21.46 inch ports or that the total port length should be 21.46? |

Good idea. It should be enough port area for average power amounts. |

1 sub about 1200 watts rms. Do you think there would be port noise issues with 2 3" ports? |

Do two 3 inch aeros you wont have port noise because of the flares. |

I actually race ATVs at a local track called North Carolina Motorsports Park. I ride a YFZ 450 and I'm #12, hence the username. |

Ah gotcha. Ya I ride bikes, don't race tho, but do keep it on the mx track. I ride a YZ250. Yamaha FTW! And good luck with the box, post some pics when done. |
