Ok as you may know i have been very disappointed with the output of my sx's and i plan to upgrade yet agian. i still dont have room for 15's so im stuck with 12's

I am really interested in the critical mass ul 12's but am wondering if there is similar performance drivers for a lower price. i dont care that the ul's only weight 16lbs i just like how they only need 2 cubes ported and how efficient they are.

also how many hc2400's should i get to properly power 5krms. 160 amp alt is gonna have to do tho.

Can't really help much with the sub question but as far as the hc2400's two of them should be sufficient for 5krms. I have two of them and it is complete overkill (although I am only running a 3250.1). Hope this helps.

I think you should definitely get the ULs and write a review with pics and vids and the whole nine yards.

Just because I've always wanted to hear a system with those and haven't got to :-)

They are nice subs for sure, but honestly the only advantage is weight. I have delt with 1 myself in a customers ride and used it for the weight factor in a mustang. Great little sub for sure, but if you don't care about weight, you can for sure save some money elsewhere.

Honestly, on 5K and 2 cubes ported the UL is probably the best choice for you. Hard to find a sub to take 2500 rms and fit in such small enclosure with the same performance. $1600 is a good price if that is with warranty as well :-)

its 2 cubes each just in case i wasn't clear, but yea thats still pretty small for 2500 rms. and no 1600 is not with the warranty thats off of ca.com. w/ warranty would prob be like 4k.

Well, if you want a warranty I can probably do something for you, but it will be a little more, but not much. Shoot me an email.
