I already have a 6.5in component set... focal 165v1s with mids and tweets. The set sounds good, but does lack good midbass. I was just messing around with my system today in my WRX and hooked up my old stock 4in speakers to the fronts (just sorta propped them up by the kick panels) and my soundstage sounded a whole lot better. Of course my stockers are not the best sound quality wise... so leads me to my question. Whats a nice set of 4in mids to get that will complement my soundstage well?? I wish I could go with a set from Focal... but money is tight, so budget will probably be about $100 or less for the set if its possible. Any suggestions? |

4 inch speakers are typically midrange speakers, not midbass speakers. For midbass, look at a 6.5" speaker |

I've been looking around on ebay for used sets of components. There is a set of Diamond Audio S600s... could these work for me? I've heard good things about diamond audio in the past... but never heard a set. I probably wont use the tweeter or crossovers, but just the 6.5in woofer |
