Just installed a GM Navigation system in my 2008 silverado that just had a basic am fm xm with single CD player . Everything went smooth till I got the theftlock error Paid dealer to unlock evrything good except very low volume now. I am told the head unit is the same on all, but on radios with navigation setup for bose system amp is turned off and just preamp goes out.(out to Bose amp) Anyone know how to turn amp output on or if this is true or not.?? |

I'm not sure I follow, but you installed a BOSE head unit into a non-bose audio system vehicle?? If so then the BOSE head unit is low current output only. I don't think there is a way for you to 'turn on' an higher output. You would need the Bose amplifier from the previous vehicle. |
