To use a jl audio 1000/1 in a car with a 110 amp alt would i need to upgrade my charging system?

big 3?
new alt?
certain kind of battery?

Could probably get away with just adding a new starter battery and a small battery in the back. A new alt is always a good thing tho, especially if you are going to ever upgrade or add a component amp.

Theres no point upgrading the big 3 on a stock alternator.
