We're looking to replace some stock speakers in a '04 Silverado. I think we're just going to do coaxials, as we don't want to mess with comps in this install. Does anyone have any recommendations for some quality speakers? Part of the reason for doing this is to get a little bump without having to do subs, so some decent bass would be a definite plus. We have an amp that will be putting out around 50RMS each channel. A new amp could be purchased if nessesary, but it would be nice if we could make this one work. Thanks for the recommendations! |

Honestly...coaxials and bump (and 50rms) don't quite go together lol. A better investment is a small sub..heck even something that would fit under a seat. You could get some bump with a comp set though if you choose right. |

I would definitely do it if it were my vehicle, but for simplicity, space, and money, the car owner want to do an all-in-one. Any ideas? |

Heck what size are we looking for? 6x9's might be what you're looking for if they can fit... |
