I was wondering if anyone knows which would be the better subs to go with? I have ordered the memphis 4000D, but i cant make up my mind which way to go on subs. I want to go with 4 12s. Advice please |

what kind of ound you lookin for? SQL,SPL?

Craig you should talk to Canaan he has a 1998 silverado thats loud and the 2007 looks like it has the same or close to the same layout. Nick V will also have some good info to share since he and Canaan are buds. |

Who is from monroe? My best friend lives off of 165. Jonathan Dickerson. Man i want a deep bass, but some sql also. I know thats hard to get. Im doing a cut out in a 2007 4 door silverado.I bought a 220 or 240 amp alternator, made by ohio generator. I havent got backup batteries yet.My box builder is doing a bandpass box. Ive heard alot about the mojos,but never heard them.I was lookn for some advice. I can get the mojos for 275 each and the l7s for 250 each. Both cant be a bad sub? |

i'd take the mojos, imo they sound better than the l7s' and can still get loud. |

I work at Desiard St. Pawn and Car Audio just across from ULM campus on Desiard St.
If you are in the Monroe area, drop by the shop.
I'll help you out w/ a box if you need.
Also, we are the only shop in the Monroe area that still does SPL competition.
If you are stuck on memphis and kicker...I would go w/ those Mojo's. They will handle that 4k well. |

Out of those two subs I would go MoJo's.
I would not spend $1000 on Memphis subs or Kicker subs there just not worth it.(JMO)

i went today and ordered the mojos and i also went with two sets of memphis` upper end components with a 500 memphis amp. after all the money i got tied up in this system it better sound good. Does anyone know what kind of backup batteries to get and how many. I already have an ohio alternator. 220 amp. |
