hi, i recently bought this powered sub but i got no instructions and I dont know what wires go where. There is a twisty knob for bass leve and the 4 connections on the back are: +R, +L, -12.V.R.L., +12V. Please tell me what goes where?
also i have rca cables in my boot, can i use these or do i have to modify (and how?)? thanks. |

Connect your positive power wire to the +12V and negative to the -12. Then run an RCA cable from your radio to the +r(right) and +l(left) respectively. Red is right and white is left (this is almost always the case). Now that I look again those look like speaker level inputs in which case you need to run a set of speaker wires to these jacks. You will have to use your rear speaker wires from the radio to power the sub otherwise you will have no output for your front speakers. Kind of a strange setup there. The brand and model and better pics would be helpful. Yes Mark, boot is what the Euros and some other areas call a trunk. |
