I would pass on the JL's. At $150 for coaxials, you're buying a name. There's stuff out there with a much better value. How much are you willing to spend on speakers? Are you willing to use an amplifier for better sound? |

Are you planning on having a real nice system in time? What are your future plans for subs and stuff? This should factor largely into your decision right now. |

I already have 2 pioneer premiers running off a 2 channel amp and they're really loud, but no matter how low I turned the amp I still can't here the music because the speakers in my car can't keep up cause they're to crappy so I wanted really good sound so I was gonna go with jl. But if you know of some other good brands then please speak up. |

Alright make a total budget for yourself...amp and speakers. What you need are components. Coaxials are not going to keep up with 2 12" subs. What kind of car is this going into? |

Its goin in a 1997 2 door honda accord, 6 1/2's in the front, 6x9's in the back, I don't wanna spend to much maybe 200 if possible but I really want to have good sound quality, that's why I was looking at jl stuff. So???? |

Skip the 6x9's entirely and get a decent set of front components. Grab your amp on eBay to save money. I'll send you a PM with some amp and comp options. |

That would work very well for a lower-powered pair of comps. What price were you able to find it for? |

I have been to Warrior. That's where they have that massive methane extraction plant. Many thousands of beautiful wooded riverfront acres wasted for gas. |
