Well, my 16th is in three weeks and i don't know what car to get. I think i've narrowed it down to a Firebird or a 350z but if there are any other reccomendations feel free to tell me. my budget is about 20k. |

I wish the budget for my first car was 20k...fck, i wish it was 5k...

holy shi_t, 16 and 20k budget! must be nice to be rich and spoiled.
but personally (and this is just me), i'd grab a used suv (explorer, blazer, etc.) for around $7-$8,000, spend around $5-$6,000 into it (meaning system, electrical, window tint, etc.) then bank the rest and let it gain interest, maybe some cd's or something. that way you'll have some money waiting for you when you get out of college or whatever you decide to do. |

Im actually not rich or spoiled. I work a full time job during the summer and am paying for 5k of the car. I already have a system and have a couple grand in the bank. so all 20 is going towards the car. |

I'm propably going to get a local shop to build me a custom box for my 13w7 to go in it. I already have a 1000/1 and will be keeping the stock HU for a couple of months and then getting a alpine w505. I'm averaging about 19 mpg right now and it was right at 18k. |
