i have a 94 explorer with a alpine type r with 900w and ive blown 2 30a fuses, amp has 2 30a fuses and i mite soon put a fuse block in with 40a and 80a fuse will this stop or make it worse? and do i need a cap with this?

that will help. no cap tho. u should have had that 4ga wire and 80amp fuse from the beginning.
