my amp wont even turn on. its wierd
i have the power/ground ran to positive on the back batt.
i have the negative of the grounded.
the remote turn on is ran to 12volt constant or somethin (red wire on HU).
fused between batt and power wire also.
plus fuse between batts
what could be the problem?

forgot in the 1st post:

is it ok to ground to batt?
or should i make my own

idk, power isnt showing or protect mode on it. HELP :-(

Check your remote wire. You will need some sort of tester. When your head unit is off the remote wire should have no power. When the Head Unit is on you should have just over 12 volts. Your battery should be grounded to some part of your car/trucks body/chassis. You should only need to connect your ground wire from the amp to some part of metal on the vehicle. But it would be safe to run your ground wire directly to the negative of your battery if you have long enough wire as well as a heavy enough piece of wire.
