I have a kenwood 1000w amp running from the battery that runs 2 audiobahn 10s the problem im having is where i have it grounded it goes in and out on me. First there could be no load on the car or the amp cut out, now i bought a stronger battery and it only turns on when the lights are on and the brake lights are on. Its confusing me. Any suggestions as to why its doing this??

dude, i don't think its an issue with the equipment. Although i can't be too specific as to what the problem is i would think its wiring in the car.

my friend once bought a Honda Civiv and he ended rewiring the whole thing himself because it wouldn't work properly.

don't why he didn't just buy a converter but it could be a similar issue.

Use a DMM and test the ground cable. Measure the voltage the amp's getting. It'll tell you exactly what's happening. Where is the remote wire on the amp coming from? Is it from the HU?
