In the midst of my first component install, i tore the silk dome on one of my tweeters I have an arc audio component set...what do i do now? can i just get a decent pair of tweeters and use them with the arc drivers and crossover? or do they need to "match", and be very similar or identical to the original pair? I want to get this installation done, and since this was an inexpensive component set, i assume that the tweeters probably werent anything special, so perhaps i could take a crappy situation and turn it into a better one by getting some better tweets. ideally id like to pick them up at a retail store or audio shop since i dont want to wait for shipping (my car is all torn apart for the installation).

thanks for any help.

PM me with the model number on that Arc set. I'll look into it for you and see what would be a good match. You'll be able to get a new pair of tweeters. It's simply an issue of finding a good pair that will work with that set.
