its a 3122 eclipse amp can any1 findout what it does ? i tried it at 2 ohms bridged cuz it is bridgable.. well it wont stay on at 2 ohms!!!! but it sure does not thump wat so ever at all. it sounds like its connected to a h/u lol thats how weak it is.

usually bridged runs at 4 ohms, stereo is 2 ohms. Try wiring it for 4 ohms bridged.

im pretty sure those amps are only 4 ohm stable bridged

yea it is not stable at 2 ohms bridged thats for sure. but thanx sean. no everyoen its not to you i meant i got it for free today iseen a friend at walmart when i was picking up some stuff for the truck and i seen he had a system i sai dwhat ya got he said 2 mtx subs and a amp that is junk! i said lemme see. i said whats wrong hes like well it doesnt do very good it sux i said thats a good brand , but not enough power to power your subs. he said yea u want it im liek sure ! he said its broken maybe i aint sure thats prolly why it dont push nothing , im like well idk i wil see what i can do with it he said wel its yours haha. wow people these days. but yea i think i shall keep it for something like my tweeters or something? wouldnt be good enough for components??

and i dont think its underatted at all cuz otherwise it would do somethign to this lightining audio junk sub i have. but its really not moving it at all

yeah im going to be using an amp that puts out 65 x 2 for my components....yours should do fine with most sets

ok :-) well atleast i will get some use out of it . haha its fairly new . wel not new but teh looks wise its been handled nicely. but i thought the cheaper components like mbquart and mdt were needing like 120 rms lol. maybe 55 rms will b fine

yeah ive read that the cdt's need more power than what we have for best impact....im not sure about the mbquart's....as far as the amp looking new thats good its a good quality amp but then again all amps should be taken care of

yea agreed. but i just dont know if i should keep this or not, as of now i m not using it . atleast till i buy a new car and start on a new project . i am hoping to buy a 98 grand am gt off of a guy i work with . i cant afford a 20000 doollar car lol but this car looks good in decent shape.
