Tested it for the first time the other day for about 10 minutes sealed. and the 1000w i was givin it just wont do. I dont want a ported system this time so it has to go. It has just been reconed.

I dont think i have the power to run it sealed. It sounds good it just lacks the output i was lookin for. Seems like i should be throwin 2000w to it or somethin for it to be in a sealed box |

what kind of output do you want? i run a single XXX 15, same model and on the dd m1 it did 142.2 dB @ 48hz sealed in a 1.4cube box before sub displacement
i'd just port it  .. any reason you do not want to do it ported? |

Just wanted to try something different and save space. I hate takin up my whole trunk. Ive been juggling the idea of two 10s also.... considering the Rl-i, w6v2, and treo ssi ( if i could find them). |

if it wasn't enough why not put a real amp on it , i'd just throw 1500rms on it and port it rather than go through the hassle of shipping a 56lb sub
people always say they want to do sealed or small because they want to save room but there is not much saving room when you add a system, thats a given. its give and take.. as long as there is a backseat who needs a trunk
