I just got a deal on a new kicker l7 15" and a hifonics 1606 i believe or whatever the 1600 watt rms amp, the box is custom but im not sure on the specs as i was in a hurry to get the equipment didnt even talk to the guy really, anyways its going in my expedition its only wired to 2 ohm so putting out around 1600 watts rms i have 0 gauge wire, and all the good stuff, how many decibels do you guys estimate this will hit, this is temporary im getting 3 more and a couple more amps, let me know thanks guys

Quick question, the 15" kicker l7? is it a 4ohm or 2ohm? and then on top of this the Hifonics 1606, considering i have one only pushes 1100rms at a 2 ohm rate (which is overrated) but im not sure otherwise...also you probably don't need 0 gauge, 4 gauge would be sufficient enough..

I did not go over, in fact I R exact. Just do the math brad. The subcon gain vs the precon loss is in a square ratio. It is unheard of to be wrong.

Nick is correct. I failed to factor in the precon loss. My bad.
