I'll be there. I went last year too; left right before it started raining and missed the concert. Hopefully I'll get to stay longer this year.

I started protesting that rip off of a show a few years ago.

Why do you say it is a rip off Thieves? Just wondering, this will be our first time at the event in Austin. If everything goes right, we will be at Scrapin' the coast in MS as well.

My back will LOVE those long trips

Heatwave is the best show I've ever been to, better than world finals.

Heatwave is great, badass cars, badass trucks, loud systems, Austin woman, cant go wrong.

Kevin, if I'm not mistaken it's like $40 a day just to walk around, at least it was like two years ago(last time I went, had to pick something up).

What I really don't like is that they let APD in one year and they went around giving citations to show car owners for illegal mods. Even tried to ticket my friend who has a lowered '71 C-10, but it's grand fathered and was untouchable.

Just my .02, and oh yeah
"Austin woman, cant go wrong." probably the smartest post ever:-)

Great cars, great events, but over priced, and that whole APD thing just turns me off.

REALLY!!?? That seems kind of, well wrong. I don't think they would like me if they pulled some crap like that.

PS: C'mon guys, perfect spot for an Ecoustics meet lol.

Thieves, I'm pretty sure it was only $20 a day last year but I may be wrong.

APD was there directing traffic but that was about it, once I got past the gates I don't think I saw anything but private security.

EDIT: Just looked up the presale tickets on their website. It's $20 for a day pass, $30 for a weekend pass, and $40 for a weekend pass plus tickets to the concert and after party.

Think somethin got F*cked, they just decided to cut out randomly -.- but i do have 2 wires hanging that fell loose from the vibrations under the passenger side dash. i think my tard of a friend may have accidently yanked on one now that i think about it..just bumpin down the street and its like "/\/\/\/\/\---------------------------." -.-
needless to say it doesnt look like my amp is getting any power..

but yeah, my bad, im going. its only like 3-3 1/2 hours from here going the speed limit =P Houston, Texas D:
