personally i would prefer going with 1 nice 12 or 15" sub in that car if you have $300 to spend. to me that seems like a better choice than going with 2 cheap drivers.

mach5 ixl. haven't heard one yet, but every review of them is absolutely positive, and can't wait to buy one myself. and can't beat the $210 shipped price on the 15".

i was thinking 2 12s or 2 15s just because it would have more cone area.

would one HD3 be louder than a pair of audiobahn 15s like this
http://cgi.ebay.com/2-AUDIOBAHN-AW1571t-SUBWOOFERS-15-inch-SUBS-2000-WATTS_W0QQi temZ130226799265QQihZ003QQcategoryZ18803QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

is it really worth the extra money to get one of better subs and just have one if they will be just as loud or really close? am i going to see a big difference in one 15 or the 2 cheapers ones? its 150 dollars difference.

one 15 hd3 cost 300
i can get 2 audiobahn 15s for 150. look at this http://cgi.ebay.com/2-AUDIOBAHN-AW1571t-SUBWOOFERS-15-inch-SUBS-2000-WATTS_W0QQi temZ130226799265QQihZ003QQcategoryZ18803QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
i am pretty sure it will fit fine and that is twice the cone area. but i know it does not have the quality. which one would be louder? the pair or just that one?

Stay away from Audiobahn. They are pretty much junk now. You should contact scott on his Alpha, I am sure he will give you a great deal on it. If you really want 12's, my favorite off 1000rms is RD Classics. I will be going back to them as well in near future :-) We have a pair left at $250.
