My friend started to switch out his kenwood cd player for a pioneer but decided that he wanted to keep his kenwood. He started to switch the adapters, then switched them back. But now his cd player wont turn on, his remote keyless wont work (locks or trunks). HELP?

i have no idea what he could of done. snipped the wrong wires or something? Are all the wire connections secure and together? sorry im no real big help.
