Dealers like Alteraudiousa and Exige are on here the right way. Laid back never pushing their products on people, they let the products speak for themselves. Do you see Exige telling people to buy his Audiopulse subs? NO
Kevin you know your here to make money, the few of us do. And the HUGE majority have been persuaded otherwise. They defend you. Why? Because your a businessman, you know how to talk to people and make them feel great and thats how you keep your cool around here.

nobody forces product down anyones throat mike. kevin does rec. products that he sells not always rd.he does have a buisness thats what salesmen do. kevin does talk to steve but not always directly, they have a mutual friend kenny coleman. as far as a good price kevin does his best and i can tell you as far as profit he is giving good deals. i can personally vouch because of team pricing vs retail and seeing the prices he gives.
I don't force anything on anyone. I also don't always recommend RD. I recommend products that I know VERY well and know how they perform. I am not here to make money. I speak with alot of these guys off of car audio terms and play with them on Xbox live. I would appreciate if you would mind your own business and stop tending to others.

i didnt read the entire thread. but this same sh!t happens on every forum just with different dealers. i think it's just apart of being on an online forum. no matter where you go these days you have people constantly trying to push products on you. whether you are watching tv, driving down the highway, or on the caraudio.com website lol. it's just a fact of life these days, and i think it's being blown out of proportion here. no one is forcing you to do anything by seeing an advertisement. right now i see a $99.99 verizon network ad here lol. i am not starting a thread b!tching about it though.
be an active consumer and choose to consume what you want to. if you want to buy rd subs from kevin go ahead and do it. he seems to be easy to get ahold of, and the products seem great. if you choose not to, dont read his posts and respond to the other 50 people who normally post on here. simple as that.
Everyone has their own mind and decision making process and if someone comes on here and Kevin convinces them RD is the end all and be all then he deserves whatever he gets. I work hard for my money and personally I could not imagine buying a product based on what a single person says and if you do you are a fool or you are rich.
I wouldn't hesitate buying from him even with my personal dislike of RD and he is an active member of Ecoustics that posts frequently.

Kevin is a regular on this forum and he posts very frequently about allot of different things.

ok fellas here is the deal. either no one sells anything in the subwoofer section (including no jumping into threads offering products), or anybody can sell anything in the subwoofer section (including kevin, ssa and anybody else who logs on) without any krap from anyone. i don't care either way.

Don't mean to stir the pot but I have to add a + rather than a - to this.
Kevin is a dealer. He helps people out with stereos, answers questions and offers his products (see dealer). Kevin knows the products that he sells and can offer them in a way to cater to various people (can't give advice on products you don't use). Sometimes for each person RD fits, sometimes Sundown fits, sometimes it's Ample Audio or sometimes it's Kicker/Rockford/AudioQue/Alpine/DD...etc but It will always be up to me what I want to buy.
Honda won't try to sell you a GM vehicle, you go to Honda to get info and advice on Honda's lines and it's up to the consumer whether or not to gather more info or to place an order. I shopped around for quite some time, and sent Kevin 20+ e-mails EASY before upgrading my amps and subs and yeah, I was looking at DD as well but the prices at the time were not in my alley.
I e-mail Kevin all the time to see what's happening in the world of stereos or to get quotes and he is a great guy to talk to. I don't have to buy from him, but I did as he is very helpful person.
For all the lousy transactions and communication that have happened on Ebay, even with E-business I can say transactions with Kevin have always been smooth.

Nobody bans users for swaying past the curse word function, Regular users trying to sell their stuff have a right to post them up. Not dealers here to make money, the way Kevin presents the product and tries to sell it is why he's banned everywhere else.
I've tried to stay out of this but its getting retarded. Sure Kevin tries to push his products, but hes a dealer so why shouldn't he. He isn't forcing his product on anyone. People can decide for themselves if what Kevin is offering them is right for them or not. Kevin has offered me many great deals on products and I have passed them up because I decided to go a different route. When I first got here, I PMed Kevin about pricing for a complete system from him and the deal he ended up giving me was one hell of one. But I turned it down because I wanted something different. People can choose whatever the hell they want to buy. Just because Kevin tells someone to email him doesn't mean they are going to buy from him, or hell, it doesn't even mean they are going to email him. Just as a side note as well, Kevin helped me a lot when I first got here learn the basics of audio. He did more than just price me a system in our emails and I must say, I really appreciated that.
Those who are bashing Kevin, what exactly are you looking at accomplishing from this? Did you just want to call him out? Try to embarrass him? Try and make him lose sales? What was the point?

And I don't see how theres a difference between him and any of the other dealers on this forum.
They all recommend they products they sell, duh. It does matter what you think of the stuff they sell, for that equipment their prices are very good, and potential buyers would not get that elsewhere.
Anything that gets more people into non-maintream car audio brands (like those deals do) is a good thing IMO.
If it's not about a product, then why do you keep bashing RD? (just asking, and pointing out your mistake here, like I said, I could care less about RD)
For the record, I've purchased an amp I kept for a whole 2 days from kevin then got a larger amp, from someone else. I've purchased an Alpha v1 directly from Steve. Any other audio equipment I've gotten used. So your argument fails there.
I've talked to Kevin about many other a product, yet haven't bought from him, I do talk to him almost once a week though, and not usually about car audio. He IS a stand up guy, with great CS if need be, and a great amount of knowledge.

LOL. Kevin is making minimal profit off of his sales here on Ecoustics. Hell, the guy even offered me deals at prices I won't discuss so I don't get him into any trouble but it was beyond him making any profit lol. Kevin isn't in this for the money entirely because if he was he'd be miserable since he doesn't make much.
