I was just wondering what else i needed to upgrade to achive the so called "Big 3" Ive already upped stock alternator from 90 amp to a 120 HO alternator... And wiring is all the right size so im not sure what else there is.... thanks |

The big 3 consists of: Alternator to battery Battery ground to Chasis Engine to Chasis Use all 0awg if you can |

Yep the big 3 is just upgrading your wire under the hood. http://www.the12volt.com/installbay/forum_posts.asp~TID~73496~PN~1 It's best to get a nice big battery up front and people reccomend a Deep Cycle battery. I went with a large starter battery up front and it's worked well for me but I have been thinking about grabbing a deep cycle too see if anything changes. |

It is one of the easiest, basic, best things you can do for your electrical. The wiring from the manufacturer is just to meet the minimum requirements. Even on a small system, the big 3 can make a noticeable difference. |

and just to make something very clear here that people sometimes get confused on. You never replace wire when you do the big 3, you are always supposed to add onto existing wire. Remember people, more is better |
