soo i bought naledge's 15" Q's yesterday in the fischer customs box he had made for them and installed them in my jeep.. i had orederd an AQ2200d to power dem bad boyz but it wasnt going to be here for a while so he let me borrow his amp until then.. so i got everything running and listened to it for most of the day. by far the best subs ive ever owned.. i parked my car infront of my house for the night and woke up to some loud explosions... when i looked outside the entire car was engulfed in flames... |

Damn . I just seen that jeep yesterday. It was a nice one. Its weird looking at those pictures knowing that I just seen that jeep and got to hear the Q's in it one last time.
I cant believe the box didnt burn all the way, thats crazy. |

im not sure whats going to happen with them. right now it looks like theyre just going to go with the car but if anyone wants the motor/baskets ill let em go for real cheap |

ya there investigating it right now but it was pretty obvious that the fire came from where the dome light was. there was a hole melted through the roof where the light used to be.. my guess is when i locked my doors the or wires shorted and lit the headliner on fire. id feel retarded if they came back and said the Q's shook loose the wires on the dome light and started the fire |

Who is this Gibson Guy anyway? I still say he could be a plant from CA. I was about to write him off as yet another E douchebag until I read him say that xmax and excursion are two totally different things. This is exactly right... xmax is a very misunderstood term which proves to me he at least knows something about audio. And I assume that the Gibson in his s/n refers to Gibson guitars which means he also knows his musical instruments and is possibly a musician. From what I have seen so far he is a positive addition to the ranks. |

Hmm... this could be a new standard of boxes, the fire-proof test!
I'm very interested in the subs. If you can pull them out and get a pic or two of them if you get time. I don't imagine the motors and baskets are hurt since the box itself is still in one piece. |
