Get the 4 ohm model, for some reason its Free Air Resonance (Fs) is a little bit lower than the other ohm models. I'd say ported around 30-32 hertz not sure on box size, but i'd definetly try to run a JL 500/1 on it.

it really depends on how you want to use it i know a guy that runs a jl 1000/1 to each in a s 10 but he goes for spl with 2 he does 150 db but they are pretty much sql subs they dont really lean toward sq or spl

Only reason I'm asking is cause the W3 I heard off a 500.1 was not very impressive imo.

Granted this guy has 4 times the power in a truck that is easy to get loud in and probably in a well made box made strictly for spl. Still I don't buy it.

Still curious on how it was metered and with what mic.

I think this guy has the w3 confused with teh w7. I would believe 2 13 w7's off 1000/1's in spl set-ups but even thats a stretch for 150.

a guy up in new london,ct has 4 w7s on 4 1000/1s 12 cubed box tuned to 33hz in a dual cab f350 ... and it was doing 49s constant and did a 50.3 once at the dash while i was there

the 50 with those subs ... no way

yeah my bad i meant w7s but anyways you can definately stretch 2 13w7's to 151 in his truck in the right enclosure just tl mic'd it couple days ago in the new box 151.1
