i really really need to know if i have to wire the negitive from the starter battery to the 2nd battery or not! i am going to start install on friday!! can i take my neg on the 2nd battery to a ground some place close in the car or do i need to run 2 wires to the starter battery???? |

Nothing goes to the starter, where the hell did you get that from. It would be ideal to run a ground wire from front battery - to rear battery - just like you do with the positive. (assuming the batteries are the same otherwise you have to isolate them) IF and only IF you have done the big 3 (which you should have) it is possible to ground the rear battery to the vehicle. But if it's not a unibody car, it has to be to the frame not the body. |

i have not done the big 3 because i don't have a bigger alt yet. i think i found my wiring problem . i didn't mean starter. i was talking about the starter battery. the 1st battery. hope my stock alt will hold up with both of these batteries.... if not then ill have to buy a new one u guys don't have to tell me that i need a bigger alt because i know i do. its a 90 amp alt powering 1600rms but i don't have the other amp in yet so it will be alright for now |

Just don't ground to both the battery and the chassis. |

If you have not done the big 3, do NOT ground that 2nd battery to the chassis |
