Hi all,

I have a problem with my alpine cda 9851r head unit, it was working fine over the weekend but today i was changing the cd. I press the open button & the head unit display showed open, made 3 beep noises and said close. The head unit would not tilt for me to insert another cd. Tryed it a fair few times but it would not open.
Anyone had this experience before & advise as to what maybe wrong.

Many thanks.

maybe a wire became loose and is causeing low voltage leading to your problem or a contact could of possiblly ot bent where the face meats the unit. lastly it could of came off track and need to be re clipped back in.
