I have 1/0 gauge wire running from my battery to my amplifier, can i just add another battery in the trunk inline with the 1/0 gauge wire running to the amplifier and then ground the new battery to the chasis? Can i use 4 gauge wire for the battery ground, or do i need 1/0 gauge wire for that?

i only have enough 0 gauge for power and ground to my amp, and it would be a pain to buy like 3 or 4 more feet of it. is the 0 gauge nexesary or will 4 gauge work?

If you would've known any of this ahead of time I could've supplied the extra 1/0ga that you might need. At the very least I have several 3' 2ga with terminal already attached. Bummer.
