is this a good amp? does it do what its rated? it says 800 rms @ 2 ohms and 1600 rms @ 1ohm. someones selling one for $150 locally is that a good price?

you are aware that they're Class A/B they consume a good amount of power.

IMO it's a good catch, if it's in mint condition.

a lot of power for the price, but HC's are dinosaurs - even less efficient than the typical a/b's.

I wouldn't waste your money, that thing is gonna be a major current hog. With the electrical system upgrades you woul need to run it, you could get a better amp for less.
