what does it mean if its single spyder? is the alternative double spyder?
What are the differences?

With the single spyder, they are built to be more efficient and more towards SQ. Will only need 1000 rms to sound great and get loud. The dual spyder is geared more toward SQL. Will take more power and have more output. We offer custom builds on alot of the subs offered :-)

You got the single spyder on the lower wattage.

Kevin, how do you know if you have a single or double spider? The sticker on the magnet reads AL-12D2 if that means anything.

You can look between the spyder ring and basket. You can see either 1 or 2 :-)
