i recently junked my 96 ciera for a 97 maxima n i threw my old system in the new car and i threw my amp n subs in the trunk and it worked for most of the first day then all the sudden shutoff n wont come back on. any ideas? i have an 800 watt sony amp with 2 12"inch xplods unfortunately im using my friends speaker cable from his subs since i lost mine but his wire is cheaper idk if that could be a problem but any help would be appreciated. opinion?

Assuming you checked all fuses, recheck your ground and rem wire too.

What gauge power/ground wire do you have? Whats the model of your amp?
