DA D3 6.5" compnents, rated 60W rms, how much can they really take cause i got a RF P200.2 and that pushes 100W RMS @ 2 ohm eeach will it work?

hmmm, if you use 1 -4ohm 6.5 on each channel of amp it will be putting 50-60 watts rms to them.

I owned the D3's before I got my HEX's. The D3's were really great for the price.

I never really set the gains with a DMM, just by ear. They will get plenty loud.

Yea your amp does 100wrms @ 2ohms but your comps are 4ohms so you should be good. They will be getting whatever power your amp does at 4ohms.

ok so how would i run them at 2 ohm, or is it possible, 4 ohm + 4ohm = 2 ohm??

Why do you want to run them at 2ohms? Just hook up each to each channel. They should be getting their rms like that.

or buy another set of comps and wire 2 speakers in parallel per channel.
