I have an 01 S10 x-cab Sub forward and port to the passengers side I think is the loudest. Right now I have sub forward and ports up and it sounds good too. Either way S10s are very easy to get loud. Just play around with the sub and port placement to find the best position. |

okay look this is not my vehicle it is my teammate, he already has the subs and is not looking to sell until these blow, currently he has subs down port down. he is doing a 149.9. all we want to do is get the 150 then he will look into getting new ones, prolly some mojo's so i just need subs and port direction suggestions |

I would try subs up ports back if it were possible so your compression zone would/SHOULD be near the front end. For you other people...CAN YOU READ? Quit telling him to get different subs because as he stated the JL subs are what he has and wants to use. Make sure you design a box with interchangeable ports. I'd do full resin and a bit of bracing if going single layer. Like Canaan said, try deadening and see how it the before and after results. Sometimes deadening will actually cause a loss in DB. |

Depends on where you are metering at the kick or on the dash as to how you want to build your box in mini trucks. |
