Does the width of the opening of the port matter when it comes to tuning? I mean is it better to have a longer/narrower port or a wider/shorter port...or does it matter? |

It matters. Too narrow a port will cause "port noise". |

Well, I was thinking about 2.5" opening for my port, tuned to 29 Hz and 3 ft^3... I wonder if that .5 ft^3 would matter since my Sub is a 15" Mag, and they suggest 3.5 ft^3??? Any suggestions? |

Add a little poly to compensate for lack of volume. |

Do you have the room to go bigger? If you are limited on space, try some aero ports. |
