looking into a 12" that will do 1000w rms and landed on these two subs. I have a trailblazer and im going to throw 1200w rms into each. im wondering which will sound clearer and louder, i know everybody might hate these questions but im stuck

Those are two completely different subs. The Q's are SQ subs, and the hdc3's are SPL. The audioques will get louder and still have ok SQ. The Q's will have much better SQ and will hit the lows better than audioques but wont get as loud.

If you want to be straight up loud, get the audioques.

I own a pair of the old sd2.5's and they pound.

Whats your budget? Are you looking for something loud and clean or mainly loud but retain some quality?

i dont want to spend any more then the 280 because thats what the Q would cost, i want something that will be loud and clean because i want a sealed box but i will go ported if needed

Fi BL would sound great on 1200RMS of course ported.

I agree with Reece. And Joey brings up a good point, I think the BL is more comparable to the other driver.
