Hey guys I was shopping around for a cheaper pair of speakers to replace my stock ones in a '98 chevrolet. A store I went to had Clarion SRR1616 for the front speakers that I liked. (I dunno if this is important or not but I have an Alpine CDE9881 deck already and no amp)
Problem is they're priced $79 and they're at least a third cheaper on places like eBay (I found a $16 tag for the same speakers, although I'm not sure that's legit)
Anyway the salesman said he has a 5-1/2" pair as well. (SRR1616 is a 6-1/2" speaker) I want to buy them online but I can't find a clarion that will fit my car's 5-1/2 slots and I don't want to pay $79 for them.
Is $79 price a ripoff and are there clarions SR1616 that are 5-1/2" in size?
