i am currently running 2 alphas off of a 1750.1 in my explorer, im buying a ext cab chevy 1500 and want to put the sub in the centre console and always have wanted to go with a single sub setup, and still have it pound. first thing that came to mind was a DD, so if anyone could give me some suggestions that would be great, it has to be 1500-2000rms like the title says cuz im not changing amps, and dual 2 ohm...if anyone is interested im gunna be selling my alphas to...thanks |

so ive narrowed it down to the dc sound lab lvl 5, depending on the specs, the rd audio alpha 10 if kevin can c about gettin that, and the DD 9510, which leads to my next question, where can i get one, aside from directly from dd... |

sounds like a cool idea and all but will you have enough airspace for those subs in just the center console area? |

I think it will handle 1500-2000w clean. My bro has his on a bxi-2006d, and I've run it for a while on a memphis 4k (conservative on the gain though). |

how does it sounds....i looking for sql, which im pretty sure i was getting a good mix out of with the alphas...but i also like it to be loud, what do u think will be louder, but still sound good, out of the bl,9510, and the level 5 |

It depends if you mean to the ear or meter. Meter I'd lean towards the 9500, ear I'd lean towards the other two. I like the way they sound, fairly similar to the btl which I really like. Gets loud enough to make up for any shortcomings imo |
