I bought a Kenwood KDC-V6017 Deck it powers up and all the functions work but I have no sound does anyone know what could be wrong |

check connections to your speakers and fader settings otherwise internal amp could be blown , did you buy new? |

I bought it used, I double and triple checked conections, so it must be the amp, is the stereo worth fixing or do you think it is junk? |

only way you can prob fix it would be sending it back to kenwood. unless u paid a hefty price, it's probably far from worth it. if u decide to junk it do 2 things before you do. 1 check the back of the unit for fueses see if any are blown, 2 opwn the housing of th unit and take a look inside see if you find any internal fuses and replace them to. one last thing i can thing of, if theres a harness, check the pins in the harness and see if they are intact and not pulled out. oh and have u everchecked to make sure a speaker wasn't groundng out on the body of the car? |
