ok so my amp power wire keeps blowing fuses with the amp hooked up and without the amp hooked up. im thinking maybe theres a short somewhere but idk. im all ears to any suggestions.

you may be drawing to much power from the amp causing it to over ride and blow a fuse or simply just having the power wire touch something metal if you have a fuse block by your battery for your amp depending on your amp usage for your amp put that same number fuse on your fuse block! is the fuse blowing on the (radio) fuse in your dash or on the amp or on the fuse block(if have One)?
