hi i recently hooked up my head unit and it was working fine for a couple of hours maybe 5 or so then i discounted it and reconected it and it worked for about 2 mins and then stoped. this was only my second time hooking up a head unit and i spliced the wires to match. do you think i hooked it up wrong and ruined it? now it wont even power up when i try to hook it up.

i think a splice came done or you blew the ffuseon the back of the headunit, now a days it's near impossible to blow a radio theres is alot of fusing to prevent it. recheck your fuses and power/acc feeds.

Most likely one of those power wires might have touched metal of your car and blown a fuse in the car if not your fuse on your radio.
