ok so im really new at building boxes and i know i probley messed up0 but i built a sealed box for 2 12 in type r's. i made it to spec of what the subs are for and i seeled all the joints with silicon and i used wood screws all over it. it has blown apart on me and ever snapped some of the screws and this is the second time.. any idea on what it might be. |

Did you use 3/4" mdf? |

I USED 3/4 IN MDF BUT NO WOOD GLUE. THE WOOD IS OK IT JUST BREAKIN ALL MY SCREWS AND PUSHING THE WOOD APART |

Yep the glue is your problem. Its okay... you tried. Now you know how to do it right. Wood Glue all the joints (both peices) and clamp them together while u screw them right. Do this will all your joints and when its all dry, THEN you silicon the joints and all is well |

if the box is flexing enough to tear apart you might want to double baffle everywhere too. |
