i have a 12" pyle and when i play it it makes a kind of scratching/ clicking noise cant figure out y it dont scratch when u push on it i have turned gain down no bass boost. can u plz help |

take the sub out and see if the wires hooked up to the voice coils are hitting the cone when it bumps thats happened to me before |

ok thats fine but what im sayin is the wires running to the vc make be hitting the back of the sub when it bumps its happened to me |

if thats it your e prolly to long from amp to sub so when your putting the sub in the box the wires has a lot of slack in it allowing it to move around or be pushed up against the cone of speaker so shorten the wire |

It's a $20-$30 sub. Possibilities are endless. Leave it hooked up and play it free air (out of the box). Does it still scratch? |

it was blown i took a dmm the vc and it read like 10ohms for a 4ohm sub is is not good |
