on the type r's i have ran them and they are power hungry subs.. it wont hurt to go more rms than what they say. ive put up to 1100 watt rms to one. so really choose what you want to sound. and how hard u want it to hit |

1000wrms is alot for a type-r. the most i would put on one is 1000rms. my friend has a 12"type-r on a kicker zx750.1, and it gets pretty loud |

they are not power hungry but i suggest a good clean 600wrms @ 2ohms amp would be good like http://www.onlinecarstereo.com/CarAudio/ProductDetail.aspx?ProductID=17702 even though it 800wrms that'll be fine ... |
