i already have a sealed box but cant decide if i should get a ported one. i will be powering it with a kx450.2 500 rms briged so it will be getting full amount of power. i want it to be loud but still sound good

ported, anywhere from 32-35hz. works best for them imo.

I would go ported. Although when I had my Type-Rs I had them in a sealed box and they sounded nice and got pretty loud. Maybe try out your sealed box while youre having a ported one built and see how you like it then try out the ported and use whichever you like best. Oh and Fishercustoms FTW!!
